Max Nagl takes his first win of the MXGP season in France

Max Nagl has won the opening moto of the Grand Prix in France. The German took the holeshot and was riding a strong race. In the beginning he got passed by Antonio Cairoli but due to a mistake of Cairoli he managed to pass him back.

Max Nagl takes his first win of the MXGP season in France

Nagl was in control and won the race in front of Antonio Cairoli, who managed to pass Jeremy van Horebeek in the closing stages of the race.

 

Behind van Horebeek it were Clement Desalle and Jeffrey Herlings who crossed the finish line in fourth and fifth. Herlings took a poor start and made a small crash while he was riding in sixth. He kept charging and finally passed Gautier Paulin in the closing stages of the race to finally finish in fifth.
